This exhibition celebrates 30 years of friendship and cultural exchange between Nara and Canberra.

On 26 October 1993, the ACT Chief Minister Rosemary Follett, and the Mayor of Nara, Japan, Yasunori Ohkawa, agreed to establish a sister city affiliation for the promotion of exchange activities in fields such as business, culture, sports, education, technology, and tourism.
