Elevator Vignettes is an experimental video work that employs the opening and closing of elevator doors as a metaphor for the very small fragments we ever experience of another individual’s life. Each brief voyeuristic glimpse gives us a taste of a much more complicated whole, one that starts well before the doors open, and will continue once they close.
