Calling all dinosaur lovers. There are dinosaurs loose in the museum! See life-size dinosaur puppets by world-renowned puppeteers ERTH, as T-Rex, Thunderbird and their friends rove through the Canberra Museum & Gallery before escaping into Civic Square.

No tickets required. Enjoy this free, family-friendly drop-in event at CMAG and Civic Square.  

While you’re at CMAG, take a look at the megafauna Diprotodon display – a local of the Canberra region – and enjoy the Dino themed Readers Space.

The CMAG Cafe will be open from 4.00-6.00pm for drinks and snacks. 

The ERTH roving performance is part of the prehistoric ‘Before Us: A Night Walk Through Time’ City Illuminations through City Walk, Ainslie Place and Civic Square. Audiences will follow the life-size dinosaur puppets as they rove through CMAG and Civic Square.
