Join us for a special talk on recent Canberra Museum + Gallery acquisitions and how they shape the stories we tell about Canberra.

Senior Curators Virginia Rigney and Dr Hannah Paddon discuss Rosalie Gascoigne’s Wool Clip (1995) and furniture by Ruth Lane Poole—the first woman appointed by the Australian Government to advise on furnishing official residences—revealing insights into the city’s art, design and social history.

Stay on for drinks and conversation in the CMAG foyer from 5pm.
