Kay Whitney

Kay Whitney commenced her role as the Nolan Access and Learning Officer at Canberra Museum and Gallery in 2008. She develops and delivers learning programs around the Nolan Collection for students of all ages, art activities for children and families and printmaking workshops for adults.

Kay studied Fine Art and Art Education at Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga. She has extensive experience as a secondary school teacher of visual art, design, drama, ceramics and music in NSW, South Australia and the ACT. She has also worked as an educator in various cultural institutions across Canberra, including the National Gallery of Australia and the Australian War Memorial.
